The sailing passage to Pemba Island is one of the finest. You sail across the famous Pemba Channel to Njao Gap on Pemba Island with its lovely coral gardens. This is one of the most beautiful anchorages on the east coast of Africa and you can choose to walk through the stunning Ngezi Rainforest or enjoy scuba diving at Fundu Gap and, after a short sail, you’ll anchor overnight at Uvinje Gap. If you choose the southeast coast of Pemba Island you can anchor in a beautiful inland lagoon with white sandy bottom beaches and crystal clear waters on Ras Upembe Island before sunset. There are good opportunities to enjoy big game fishing and scuba diving sites and you might well catch a big dorado, sailfish or a marlin when sailing on the open sea back to Zanzibar Island early in the morning. Mnemba Island is a two hour sail from Nungwihich which is a Marine Conservation area..

This popular cruising catamaran has recently been totally refitted and now has modern electronic navigation systems and air conditioning throughout. The ample outdoor living areas encourage you to relax and the stern of the boat is perfect for fishing, scuba diving and swimming in crystal clear waters. The aft cockpit has a large dining area and there’s seating with cushions and padded backrests all around. The saloon is bright and spacious with a leather sofa and an American bar area plus a flat screen TV with CD/DVD player. The guest accommodation is for up to eight people in four double cabins. Each has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom and a shower. The crew cabin has a separate bathroom. The large gourmet galley is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge and two deep freezers. You will sail to the Primeiras archipelago which is a string of sparsely inhabited barrier islands and coral reefs in a marine conservation zone just off the town of Angoche in the north of Mozambique.

From the second week of August until the first week of December, you will sail from Pemba to St Lazarus Banks that lie off the Quirimbas Archipelago in Northern Mozambique. Pemba is in Northern Mozambique and is a good starting point for crewed yacht charter holidays to visit the Quirimbas Archipelago and explore the most exciting areas of Quirimbas National Park.

You’ll start your cruise from Nosy Be (called the Perfumed island) off the north west coast of Madagascar and head for the beautiful Mitsio and Radama Archipelagos. Your holiday starts when you meet the crew at Fascene international airport and then you’ll be driven to your boat.

This sailing catamaran has been recently renovated and was totally refitted in 2008.  She sails well in the gentle trade winds blowing southwest or northeast along the east coast of Africa. Our sailing holiday package includes the services of three crew (skipper, cook and deckhand), full board meals, bed linen, all fuel, use of a boat tender, fishing and snorkeling equipment, taxes in Madagascar and airport round-trip transfers. Scuba diving and dive equipment is available to rent. Alcoholic and soft drinks are chargeable at the end of the cruise.

The large outdoor living spaces feature a foredeck with trampolines for sunbathing and a pleasant aft deck cockpit area to relax and dine. The boat’s interior is comfortable and naturally ventilated with a spacious saloon fitted with a cushioned sofa and seats around a table. You’ll enjoy convivial and delicious meals freshly prepared by the cook and featuring Malagasy specialties. On board amenities and entertainment include a Pioneer Hi-Fi music sound system with CD/USB. Private accommodation for eight guests is in four double cabins and all are fitted with a queen size bed, dressing area, storage and en suite bathroom/shower facilities. There’s hot and cold water and 220v plug sockets are available in each cabin and the saloon. The crew’s quarter is separate.

A watermaker supplies 200 litres of freshwater per hour. The galley has a gas stove/oven, fridge and freezer and all dinnerware., There’s also a cockpit refrigerator. Navigation instruments and telecommunication include GPS, chartplotter, radar, echo sounder, cruising guides, marine VHF radios and a cellular phone.

There are four solar panels, two dive platforms with swimming ladders and a deck shower on transom. Water sports include a boat tender with a 25 horsepower outboard engine, fishing tackle and eight sets of snorkeling gear, dive equipment for four divers and a Bauer dive compressor.
