Winds scented with a fragrant mixture of orchid, frangi pani and vanilla carry you to the islands that have cast their mesmerising spell on centuries of sailors. The Leeward Islands of Tahiti enjoy dazzling coral reefs with exotic colours. Imagine anchoring on a motu, a vegetated islet on a reef! Bora Bora Sailors are greeted by a spectacular scene and an easy approach on the line of sight crossing Raiatea. Once inside the sheltered
lagoon, sunlight bathes the basalt slab of Mount Otemanu in a rainbow of
changing colour. Seen together with the rounded top of Mount
Pahia, the view is ever changing with each anchorage . Huahine
Tahaa, the "Vanilla Island." Look for the rare tiare apetahi, a white flower with five petals found nowhere else on earth.
Polynesia
The tranquil translucent
blue lagoons with magnificent coral gardens and fascinating
marine life, scents of orchid and vanilla, lush green vegetation
and vividly coloured nature, beautiful indented bays and white
sand beaches, deserted "Motus" and friendly inhabitants are
some of the unforgettable sensations offered by the
Polynesian Islands.
